Veterans Day at Suresnes American Cemetery – 2015

More than 20 Girl Scouts paid tribute to our veterans at the Suresnes American Cemetery at two distinct ceremonies. Girls from CGS01, SGS05, CGS08, BGS14, JGS21, JGS33, and CGS35 took part at the Memorial placing flowers, participating in the flag and wreath-laying ceremonies, reading the Presidential Proclamation, and spending time with Vice-Admiral James Foggo, Commander of the 6th Fleet & Naval Striking & Support Forces NATO, who gave an uplifting talk to a group of both Girl and Boy Scouts. A note of appreciation goes out to Suresnes American Cemetery and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
