On Saturday, November 28, more than 50 Girl Scouts and their families gave the gift of their time to Love In A Box (LIAB). LIAB is a Paris-wide community project sponsored by the American Cathedral since 2001, serving more than 2,500 children last year. A designated Girl Scout Packing Day was devoted to putting together over 250 backpacks filled with toys, candy, and school supplies for needy girls in Strasbourg and Bulgaria. Girl Scouts also brought shoeboxes filled with goodies for babies as well. Thank you to Kim Petyt for organizing this wonderful event and to all our Girl Scouts and their families for showing the Paris community that Girl Scouts care.
