Camp In: Winter Carnival!

What an appropriate theme:  Winter Carnival!  Postponed due to… snow. How ironic.  Rescheduled and a huge success! The snow on the ground added ambiance to the winter Camp In.  Here are a few highlights from event organizer Erin Locke & Junior Troop 19.

Camp In 2013 took place on February 9-10, 2013, at the Centre National de Formation de Jambville, Scouts et Guides de France.  After being cancelled on January 19th because of a large snowstorm we were able to reschedule the event for February.

Sixty-seven Girl Scouts and 29 Adult Volunteers from 10 troops of USAGSO-Paris attended this annual event.  We had six Junior Troops, three Cadette Troops and one Senior Troop attend. Seventy-six girls and adults enjoyed spending the night in our “Camp In” facilities – the Orangerie and the Grande Ferme. (more…)
