Peace for Paris

The Paris Girl Scouts are saddened by the appalling incidents of Friday night in our city, thank you to all around the world for your kind words of support. Our loving thoughts are with the innocent victims and their families, the people of France and all those affected by this tragedy.
To put yourself in another’s place requires real imagination, but by doing so each Girl Scout will be able to love among others happily.

Fall Fun and Apple-Picking at the Ferme de Gally

How about them APPLES?!?  Our annual apple-picking day was a cracking success.  Eleven Girl Scout troops met up at the Ferme de Gally for some games and songs and then gathered up their wheelbarrows and baskets to pick apples.  A big thank you to Kim Petyt and Troop 35 for organising a great day out.  Hope everyone had fun and made lots of apple pies.  Click here to see photos.

Open House and Troop Showcase

The Paris Girl Scout Neighborhood is off to a fantastic start!  At our Open House & Troop Showcase kick-off on Saturday September 19th, we not only ate lots of homemade cakes and cookies, but more importantly, welcomed a large number of potential new members.  Many of these new families took part that day in our “Getting Started” training presented by our USAGSO-Paris Facilitators.  In addition, two Troops, CGS35 & SGS05 beautifully presented their Bronze and Silver Awards projects.  Lastly, a big thank you again to all the Girl and Adult volunteers who made it happen so effectively. Click here to see more photos.
